quakes

After almost a month of feeling pretty well no aftershocks there was a small one Monday morning in class, everyone stopped for a second and then continue to normal - the normal routine. 3.04 am, early Tuesday morning, I am jolted out of bed by another aftershock this time a 5.3, 14 km deep quake with an epicenter only 9 km or so from where I live. Just after 9 am another small one hits.
I can’t even begin to describe what it feels like .. all I can say is that I can now only begin to understand the feelings of the locals here when the February 22 quake hit. Each time there is a quake you stop, you wonder how long its going last and when it lasts more than a split second you can feel the fear rising as you wonder what is going to happen this time..
